Florida Access Network responds to the start of a new presidential term

Never forget, WE got us. Abortion Access Forever.

Reproductive justice and true abortion access require much more from us than ballot amendments and electoral politics. Our ultimate responsibility as an abortion fund is to ensure that abortion seekers receive care, and that remains true regardless of how our state votes or the politicians in office.

The work of building a movement centered around reproductive justice and bodily autonomy does not begin and end at voting for president or governor.

Reproductive Justice requires us to embody a long-term commitment to the daily grind of advocating, funding, communing, learning, unlearning, relationship building, sacrificing, and struggling to bring our people closer to collective liberation. This remains true no matter who is inaugurated today, and we invite you to consider what the RJ movement requires of you in the long term, throughout these next four years and beyond. What can you do?

  1. Support your local abortion fund

  2. Find a political home

  3. Begin the day-to-day work of planting seeds that will bear the fruit of liberation for future generations to pick

    Love & Access,
