Floridians have and always will need reproductive care. Elections come and go, but the future of Florida is ours. We’re building a state where we can all live our best lives, love who we love with no restraint, and get the abortion care we need with support and compassion. 

The 6-week ban took effect across Florida in May and ended abortion access as we knew it. As folks are forced to travel out of state to receive necessary care, most of our funds and support go towards meeting the logistical needs of our clients, like flights, gas, food, hotel stays, and childcare. Many people do not know they’re pregnant at six weeks. Many think they’re under six weeks but learn they’re over and must shift their plans and budget.

This past June, we met our monthly spending budget only halfway through the month after a 186% increase in client logistical support. Across the country, abortion funds like ours are trying to provide services without the donations and funding we need to assist everyone who needs support. Every day our team navigates the fast spending and depletion of our funds as clients need more money for logistical needs. 

At Florida Access Network, love is at the core of what we do. Love for our bodies, our communities, and justice. Get Help

Abortion appointment funding:



We provide direct-to-clinic payments to lower your appointment cost, depending on how far along you are and where you can access care. 

Abortion related practical support (travel, food, lodging, medication):



We help offset the cost of food, travel, and lodging for your appointment as long as our capacity and funding allows for it.

Peer support:

Join Hibiscus Club, a peer-led, non-medical group for members of our community who have had abortion experiences, in partnership with Peer Support Space.

Mutual aid (distribution of reproductive health kits, emergency contraceptives, sexual health supplies):

Our mutual aid program focuses on building a resource bank of accessible, repro-focused resources for community and clients. Click here to request supplies.

Our new program aims to make essential reproductive health products and resources accessible to individuals in need by partnering with locations across Florida to distribute these products.
